DealHawk

Privacy Policy

Effective August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the DealHawk browser extension and related DealHawk services handle information when you use the extension.

Information DealHawk handles

When you use DealHawk on a supported real-estate listing page, the extension may read property information visible on that page, including the property address, listing URL, price, beds, baths, square footage, listing and sale dates, days on market, property characteristics, and listing source.

DealHawk also stores your selected subject property, comparable-property list, filter and analysis settings, and—when you connect a CRM deal—the identifier needed to associate your valuation with that deal. DealHawk does not collect payment-card or bank-account data.

How the information is used

The information is used only to provide DealHawk's user-facing features: collecting and organizing comparable properties, calculating distances and valuation results, estimating ARV and rehabilitation ranges, exporting user-selected data, and sending a valuation to a connected CRM when you explicitly request it.

Storage and retention

Selected properties and preferences are stored locally through Chrome extension storage so they remain available across supported pages and browser sessions. You can remove selected properties inside DealHawk or clear the extension's stored data by removing the extension. Information you choose to send to a connected CRM is retained according to that service's account and retention settings.

Services DealHawk communicates with

DealHawk operates on supported Zillow and Redfin pages, may use the U.S. Census geocoding service to calculate property locations and distances, and may communicate with the DealHawk API to provide requested valuation features. If you explicitly send a valuation to BirdDogCRM, the selected subject, comparable, and valuation information is transmitted to that connected CRM. DealHawk does not transmit this information for advertising.

Data sharing and sale

DealHawk does not sell user data. DealHawk does not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising, unrelated marketing, creditworthiness, or lending decisions. Data is shared only as necessary to provide a feature you request, comply with law, or protect the security and integrity of the service.

Security

DealHawk limits access to the minimum permissions needed for its features. Data sent to production services is transmitted over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but reasonable safeguards are used to protect information handled by the service.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

DealHawk's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when DealHawk's features or data practices change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
